Building an ALMS Race Car Under 22 Hours

This is just incredible. I can’t believe I didn’t see this until now. After destroying their Acura LMP1 during the ’09 Petit Le Mans practice, the Patrón Highcroft ALMS team had no choice but to rebuild another one. And they did just that, under 22 hours. The rebuild consisted of 4,000 parts and it took them 21 hours and 45 minutes. That takes a lot of skills, knowledge, and experience. Real cool story. Here’s a video of the original car crashing and then a time lapse video of the rebuilding.
