I hope you dig the title as much as I do. I wanted to use all those words but I couldn’t leave out one or the other so I made up a word

This is just incredible. I can’t believe I didn’t see this until now. After destroying their Acura LMP1 during the ’09 Petit Le Mans practice, the Patrón Highcroft ALMS team had no choice but to rebuild another one. And they did just that, under 22 hours. The rebuild consisted of 4,000 parts and it took them 21 hours and 45 minutes. That takes a lot of skills, knowledge, and experience. Real cool story. Here’s a video of the original car crashing and then a time lapse video of the rebuilding.

NWP4LIFE member, gawa, recently when on a trip to Japan and decided to stop by some shops. One of those was the favorite, Spoon Sports. He also went for a walk down the street to Type One, which is part of Spoon Sports. All the engine building and tuning gets done at Spoon Sports, while all the installation and repairs gets done at Type One. There were other shops he went to visit but I’ll save that for another day. It certainly is rare to find around town and even more rare finding one in such beautiful shape as the example before us. The last one left the assembly line in 1992 and it was thought for a while that it was gone, for good. It made a comeback in 2008 and the styling of it is still amazing. We just hope it comes to the NA market . This one is a great example of which direction any MK2 Scirocco should be headed into. Hopefully more will pop up around Vortex so I can share with you guys. Until then, drool over this one.
Another masterpiece coming together in the MK2 world. You don’t see too many people keeping their brown interior but this one pulls it of without a doubt. The creamish color, brown interior, shaved bay with some chrome touches, and everything else on the car flow so well. It’s almost done so keep an eye out for it. This s2000 has definitely put Canada on the map. Previously fitted with some Volk CE28N’s, now it’s been upgraded with some Volk TE37′s. Everything is on point on this car. It still rocks the great fitment and it still rips around the track. No hard parking here. Jackie’s car has also gained interest from Honda Tuning and you can check out that feature by clicking here. You may have seen that one red TT with the BBS LM’s or that one red TT with the CCW’s, well that TT is the same one below and it is owned by Ryan Meloy. And that TT is sittin on some new wheels. You can’t go wrong with the classic and stylish BBS RS’s. This TT is sitting proper with air ride and the new wheels make it a beauty. I can’t wait to see more at the upcoming shows. I have been so busy these past couple days that I lost track of the blog and completely forgot when was the last time I put up new stuff. Well I’m back on track and today’s update has some ill rides. I was going through some air ride threads and these two blew me away by far. No stickers, no crazy camber, nothing over the top, “hey, look at me mods,” so simple yet so gangsta as hell. I have been thinking about making a change from coils to air ride and these two fine examples are definitely pulling me to the dark side. Forget about my dilemma, let’s see some pictures.
